Privacy

What we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.

The public site collects only the minimum we need to run the marketing experience, respond to enquiries, and understand whether the site is working after you opt into analytics.

Questions or requests about privacy can be sent to privacy@sustainairbility.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

What we collect

If you accept analytics, we collect pageviews, clicks, scroll depth, session timing, performance timings, and approximate location derived from hashed IP and coarse geo lookup.

We also store a client identifier in localStorage and a session identifier in sessionStorage after analytics consent. These identifiers help us avoid counting every page load as a brand-new visit.

What we collect when you contact us

If you submit the contact form or newsletter form, we collect the details you enter, submission metadata needed to fight spam, and delivery metadata from the email provider or newsletter provider.

Contact submissions are retained for operational follow-up, abuse investigation, and continuity of support.

Why we collect it

  • Run and improve the public marketing site
  • Measure which pages and calls to action are useful after opt-in
  • Respond to support, bug, privacy, press, partner, or educator enquiries
  • Defend public forms against spam and repeated abuse

Location, IP hashing, and retention

We do not publish raw visitor IP addresses in the public analytics views. Where IP hashing is enabled, the site stores a salted hash and coarse location metadata rather than precise personal location.

Raw marketing analytics are retained for 90 days. Contact submissions are retained for 365 days. Newsletter records are retained until you unsubscribe in Buttondown.
